Introducing Amy Anderson Photography!

November 6th, 2012

We’re getting a fresh new look and a new name, too!  Studio A Photography is now Amy Anderson Photography, and Boston-based designer & illustrator, Josh LaFayette, has designed all new materials for us! The Studio A website and blog will all be rolled into the Amy Anderson Photography space, so you won’t see any new content ’round here.  Find all the new stuff at www.amy-anderson.com and update your RSS feed to keep up with the blog!

We kicked off this year’s wedding season with a beautiful wedding in Mobile at the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion.  It was my first wedding since baby girl was born, and also my first wedding to do alongside my new partner, Mallory!  The weather was perfect and I fell in love with the bride’s soft and subtle color palette for the wedding. Everything looked so beautiful with that grand antebellum home as our backdrop. Congratulations, Andrew and Stephanie!

Happy Birthday!

Mobile Bay Bride

Last Spring, I photographed a beautiful mock wedding with the staff of Mobile Bay Monthly magazine for their 2012 Bride issue.  These are a few of my favorites.

We’re Back!

January 16th, 2012

We’ve been hibernating.  On October 12th, we welcomed our first baby into the world and we’ve been under the radar for a while.  But, we are glad to be back in the swing of things for the new year as we start booking weddings for 2012.  Be on the lookout for new content and big changes this year.  For now, a few photos of our sweet baby girl:

Anna & Hunter

I recently had the pleasure of photographing my good friend Anna’s wedding.  Anna and I grew up together.  We went to church and school together, rode our bikes to each other’s houses and played in the woods.  It was so much fun to photograph her beautiful, casual bayside wedding.  The weather could not have been more perfect, and all the lovely details came together beautifully.  Congratulations on your new life together, guys!
