Today we celebrate the launch of Douglas Anderson Photography (also known as D.A.P.). But “Why?”, you ask. Well, Douglas likes to take pictures of food and he is also interested in doing some freelance photography. This will be his outlet.

Stop by and check out the website (and the fantastic logo created by Ryan Lundy.)

Cypress Album

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

We recently began offering Cypress albums to our clients, and today we present to you Chris & Christi’s album. I don’t think the video can quite capture how impressive these albums are when you have them in your hand, but it gives you a good idea of what to expect. It’s amazing how much care the Cypress team takes to ensure that these hand-made albums are crafted with perfection. If you haven’t already, stop by their website and read all about them.

Call us up if you’d like to see one in person!

Bailey Stewart

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

It’s Bailey, the Stewart’s dog!

I think my favorite is the black-and-white of Bailey licking her chops. She really wanted the tennis ball I had hiding under my arm.

More to come soon of the whole Stewart family (the humans, that is.)

Tripp & Coltrane

Sunday, October 11th, 2009

Our good friend Tripp and his chocolate lab Coltrane (yes, he’s named after jazz great John Coltrane) took us out for a boat ride this weekend on Fish River.  The weather was perfect and we enjoyed a much needed day on the water.  Living on the coast is pretty much fantastic.

Rolleiflex – Cyanotype

Thursday, October 8th, 2009

Amy and I have been printing cyanotypes lately. Our friend Mallory got us into alternative printing processes, and we’ve having a blast. After four prints and two negatives, I finally got this print looking decent. And then Amy, of course, whips up the print you see above on her first try. Pfft!

Anybody want a cyanotype print of themselves? Let’s talk.
